Welcome to novacatapult.com (the "Site"). The Site is operated and maintained by Shanda Investment Group Limited ("we," "us," or "our"), primarily to present information about the "NOVA CATAPULT" incubation program (the "Program") and to provide an application channel.

Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the Site. By accessing, browsing, or using the Site — including submitting application materials via the "Apply Now" button — you agree to be bound by these Terms in full.

1. Nature of the Site

1.1 The Site is an informational and promotional portal describing the Program's general scope, eligibility criteria, and support offered. Nothing on the Site constitutes an offer, invitation to offer, or binding commitment.

1.2 Figures and descriptions regarding funding amounts, office space, compute resources, or partner networks are general program descriptions only. Specific terms are governed exclusively by the written agreements we separately execute with selected teams (including but not limited to the Incubation-Period Labor Contract, Incubation Agreement, and Conversion Right Confirmation Letter).

1.3 Submitting an application through the Site does not mean the application has been accepted or that you have obtained any funding entitlement. Acceptance and specific cooperation terms will be communicated separately following our review process.

2. User Conduct

By using the Site, you agree that you will:

  • provide truthful, accurate, and complete information in any application materials, free of false or misleading content;

  • not use the Site for any purpose that violates applicable law, infringes third-party rights, or endangers network security;

  • not use crawlers, bulk scraping, or other abnormal technical means to access Site content or interfere with the Site's normal operation;

  • obtain any necessary consent from third parties (e.g., team members) whose personal information you include in your submission.

3. Intellectual Property

3.1 All text, images, video, design, and marks on the Site (including the "NOVA CATAPULT" name and logo), unless otherwise noted, are owned by us or our licensors. No reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is permitted without our prior written consent.

3.2 Intellectual property rights in the application materials you submit (project descriptions, proposals, etc.) remain with you or the original rights holder. We use such materials solely to the extent necessary to evaluate your Program application and do not acquire any ownership interest in them by virtue of the review process.

4. Disclaimer

4.1 Site content may be updated, modified, or removed without prior notice.

4.2 We make no warranty as to the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of Site content and, except where mandatory law provides otherwise, are not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from reliance on it.

4.3 The Site may contain links to third-party websites for user convenience only; we are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or conduct of any linked third-party site.

5. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as our business needs require. The updated Terms will take effect upon posting on the Site. Continued use of the Site after such posting constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

6. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (mainland). Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party may bring suit before a court of competent jurisdiction at our place of registration.
